Kristi's Story
A career built on genuine care
Kristi has been a certified physician assistant since 2002, and found her true calling in psychiatry in 2012. She came to the field through inpatient work, spending years with complex cases that most providers never encounter, before transitioning to outpatient care in 2018.
What has stayed consistent through every setting and every year is the way Kristi shows up for her patients. Unhurried. Warm. Genuinely present. She creates an environment where people feel safe enough to be honest, which is often the most important thing a psychiatric provider can do.
She joined Restoring Balance Psychiatry because she found a practice that shared her values completely. Patient-centered care. Real conversations. No one feeling like a number.
How Kristi Works
What is it like to be her patient?
Patients consistently describe Kristi as someone who makes them feel comfortable from the very first visit. She is thoughtful and deliberate in her approach, taking time to understand the full picture before drawing conclusions or making recommendations.
She is known for including her patients in their own care plans, making sure that every person who sits across from her understands what is being recommended and why. That respect for her patients' intelligence and autonomy is not a technique. It is simply who she is.
Who She Sees
Currently accepting patients
Kristi is now accepting new patients with the following insurance plans: Cigna, Aetna, UHC/Optum, BCBS, Ambetter (pending).
Kristi sees patients ages 14 and older for standard psychiatric evaluation and medication management. She can also see children ages 5 to 13 who have completed a psychological assessment prior to their first visit, making her one of the few providers in this practice able to support younger patients and their families.
